The rainy season brings relief from the heat — and a surge in pest activity. Stagnant water breeds mosquitoes, flooded burrows push rodents indoors, and damp conditions draw ants and cockroaches into kitchens and bathrooms.
Most rainy-season infestations begin outside: blocked drains and gutters, water collecting in containers, buckets and flower pots, overgrown compounds, and gaps under doors and around pipes that give pests a dry route indoors.
Empty or cover anything that collects water, keep drainage flowing, trim vegetation away from the building, and seal entry points before the rains peak. If mosquitoes, rodents or crawling insects have already moved in, a professional treatment paired with these corrections will keep them from returning.
